The
usual collective bargaining remedy for a claim of contract violation
is the pursuit of a grievance, culminating in binding or nonbinding
arbitration. Arbitration involves an evidentiary hearing before a
neutral person who decides the issue presented under the collective
bargaining agreement. Members of the firm have successfully represented
boards of education in many arbitration hearings on a variety of issues
before arbitrators across the State of Ohio.
