Emily advises school boards on a variety of legal matters with a focus on general school representation.  She also has extensive experience representing employers in all areas of workers’ compensation including temporary total disability compensation, wage loss, Handicap Reimbursement Awards, vocational rehabilitation, scheduled loss awards, and permanent total disability.  Emily has defended employers before administrative agencies, in litigation, and at the appellate court level.

Emily graduated from the University of Akron in December 2020.  While there, she was President of the Law Association for Women which hosted several educational conferences and community service projects. Before committing to law school, Emily worked as a teacher and spent ten years as a paralegal, working in various fields including employment law, Workers’ Compensation, and business law.

She is an avid reader, who also enjoys hiking with her family, car shows, and musical theater.
