Mr. Christian M. Williams was born in Danvers, Massachusetts, and
grew up in Windsor, Connecticut. Upon graduation from high school,
Mr. Williams earned a four-year merit scholarship to attend Case Western
Reserve University, where he graduated cum laude in 1991 with a B.A.
in English, and minors in political science and philosophy.
Mr. Williams earned his Juris Doctor from the Case Western Reserve
University School of Law, graduating cum laude in 1994. While in law
school, Mr. Williams served as Executive Notes Editor and Associate
Editor of the Case Western Reserve Journal of International Law, and
published his note, Combatting Human Rights Abuses and Inadequate
Organ Supply Through Presumed Donative Consent, 26 Case Wes. Res.
J. Int'l L. (Spr. 1994).
After law school, Mr. Williams started his practice as a trial attorney,
focusing on all aspects of employment, commercial and general tort
litigation. Mr. Williams has tried cases in Ohio County Courts of
Common Pleas and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District
of Ohio. He has experience in grievance arbitrations, federal mediation,
and representation of Ohio school boards before State and Federal
administrative agencies and county boards of revision.
Mr. Williams is a member of the Ohio Bar Association and the Ohio
Council of School Board Attorneys. Mr. Williams is licensed to appear
before all State courts in Ohio, the U.S. District Court for the Northern
District of Ohio, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
