Ms. Brickman is an Associate with Pepple & Waggoner, representing public school districts in general representation and special education issues.  In addition, Ms. Brickman represents public school districts in litigation before Ohio courts and administrative agencies, including Sunshine Law claims at both the trial and appellate levels; discrimination claims before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Ohio Civil Rights Commission, and the Office for Civil Rights; and unfair labor practice charges before the State Employment Relations Board.  Ms. Brickman previously worked as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Vernon L. Preston at the Third District Court of Appeals of Ohio, where she drafted opinions on a variety of matters applicable to school law, including collective bargaining, tax valuation, and contract disputes.  Ms. Brickman graduated cum laude from The University of Akron School of Law and served as the Executive Editor of the Akron Law Review.  She graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University in 2007, with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy.
